Cape Marlera lighthouse was built at the end of the 19th century on the southeastern tip of the Istrian peninsula, six kilometers from Ližnjan, on the easternmost part of the Marlera peninsula, on the Grkova cape, 25 meters from the sea. Marlera offers a beautiful view of Kvarner and the islands, and there are several islets and cliffs nearby.
