Vodnjan, a town near Pula, is an interesting destination for lovers of art, culture, olive oil and wine. In the old part of the city there are numerous buildings from the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. The church of St. Blaise, whose bell tower is the highest in Istria (62 meters), houses the mummified bodies of saints and relics.
