Synopsis
This American action and adventure film is set in the 14th century. Two repulsive crusaders switch from warfare to a mission to bring an alleged witch to a remote monastery in order to ritually end the plague. The scenes of shipwrecked Nicolas Cage were made in Premantura, at Kamenjak cape, between Velika and Mala Kolumbarica. A Hollywood production design and visual effects were praised, even though the film often received poor reviews. Many called it a cliché, with numerous historical inconsistencies.
