Belaj is a settlement or estate in central Istria in which there are ruins of a medieval castle with the nearby church of St. Martin from the 18th century. The central building of the idyllic estate surrounded by vineyards is a renovated 16th-century Baroque castle with a historic wine cellar and restaurant.
