Synopsis
“Besa” is an intense TV show about a Belgrade entrepreneur Uroš who, after a tragic car accident in which the daughter of an Albanian mobster loses her life, he gives “besa” (a sacred word of honour) to protect his family. That makes him a mafia’s hitman. The series explores the burden of promise, conscience, and the desperate struggle of an ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances.
