Synopsis
“Bijeg do mora” is the last film by the great director Veljko Bulajić, who, unfortunately, did not make it to see its premiere. Although famous for partisan spectacles, this film brings an intimate love story set in Istria during World War II and 50 years later. The main character, a former German soldier, goes back to the place where he used to be in love. It was made in 2017 in Istria and Montenegro, but for production reasons, the audience never got the chance to see it.
