Synopsis
“Die Reiter von Padola” is an adventure German TV show directed by Dietrich Haugk. The story is set in the 19th century and it follows the fight of local riders against tyrannical government in a fictional Balkan principality. The show was partly filmed in Istria, especially in and around Pazin, whose castles, canyons and karst landscapes were an impressive backdrop for a European “Wild West”.
