Synopsis
“Egzorcizam”, filmed in a basement in Vodnjan, is based on a play from the Istrian National Theater in Pula and inspired by a true event of alleged possession. One of the rare horror films in Croatian cinematography, it gathers a priest, a female psychiatrist and a female journalist in a claustrophobic setting. Vodnjan, known for mummies of saints and mysticism, amplifies the eerie and authentic backdrop of the film.
