Synopsis
TV romantic drama “Ein Sommer in Kroatien”, directed by Holger Barthel, was filmed under the working title “„Adriatische Geschichten – Briefe aus Rovinj” in 2011. The main character is Ena, a restaurant manager whose wedding falls through, so she goes to Rovinj to help her grandmother run a fish restaurant, struggling with finances, stubborn aunt Tereza, family secrets and loss. She falls in love with a local fisherman Matej while they try to save the restaurant together.
