Synopsis

“High Road to China” is an adventure romance action movie filmed in 1983, in which a spoiled heiress hires an adventurous pilot to find her father who went missing in Asia. The main roles are played by Bess Armstrong and Tom Selleck, who was at the peak of his fame at the time, and interestingly, he was originally supposed to play Indiana Jones. It was filmed in Yugoslavia, and Istrian and Kvarner locations compellingly depicted Asia. The film was directed by Brian G. Hutton, known for “Kelly's Heroes”, which had been filmed in Vižinada 14 years prior.
