Hum is the smallest town in the world. It is located in central Istria, 14 kilometers southeast of Buzet. Within the preserved town walls are two small streets and the parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary from 1802 and the Romanesque church of St. Jerome from the 12th century, painted with numerous Glagolitic inscriptions and graffiti.
