Synopsis
A Brief Excursion” by Igor Bezinović is based on Antun Šoljan’s novel. It is about Stola and a group of young men who embark on a search of a monastery, but the trip turns into a symbolic journey through the unknown. The film features complex narration, the gap between image and sound, and the introduction of ethnic music into the ambient design. Istria becomes the backdrop for introspective wandering and getting lost.
