Synopsis
“La guerra continua”, directed by Leopoldo Savona, is a war romantic drama in which five Italian soldiers escape from Portoroz a Nazi camp and head towards southern Italy. A girl called Italia joins them, who develops a close relationship with one of the fugitives. It was filmed in 1962 in Bale, and local extras, experienced thanks to previous filming projects, readily greeted the movie team and once again took part in numerous scenes. Thanks to that, Bale became the backdrop of the early international film cooperation.
