Synopsis

Rinaldo Rinaldini, the protagonist of C. A. Valpioso’s novel, is a kind of Italian Robin Hood. In Southern Italy, he waged a bandit war to avenge his family, help the poor, and expel oppressors. František Čap, one of the best Czech directors, filmed 12 episodes of the hit-show “La kermesse des brigands” for German TV based on a novel about an Italian bandit. This adventure TV show for children and young people was filmed in 1968 in Buje, Oprtalj, Pazin, Piran in Slovenia, Koper, Predjama and Postojna.
