Labin is a town with medieval architecture, rich history and cultural heritage located in the eastern part of Istria, near the sea. The main town square features a 16th-century loggia and the main city gate of St. Flora, and there is a cannon from the Austrian era. The Baroque palace of the Battiala Lazzarini family is now the National Museum.
