Synopsis

“Olujni jahači” was filmed in 1984 in France, Serbia, Montenegro and along the Croatian coast. It is based on a novel by Jean Giono, and directed by Gérard Vergez. The story of two brothers and a love triangle during World War I was nominated for a prestigious French award César. Michael Portal won a Césa for the original music, and an impressive scenography features scenes from Istria.
