Synopsis
TV show “Mathias Sandorf” was filmed based on the novel written by Jules Verne in 1885 about the adventures of a Hungarian Count captured in Pazin Castle and his escape down the cliffs of Pazin pit. It depicts the adventures of a Hungarian Count Mathias Sandorf, accused of a conspiracy against Austrian government and captured in Pazin Castle Montecuccoli. The scenes from Pazin Castle weren’t filmed at the original location, and some of the scenes were filmed on the coast south of Rovinj.
