Synopsis
“Quand vient l'amour” from 1956 and directed by Maurice Cloche, combines drama and romantic comedy. This black and white film follows Jany, a resident of a girls' home, who forges a postcard and invents an uncle in Yugoslavia in order to join an excursion. She meets a boy who helps her find her non-existent uncle. Through shared adventures, they fall in love. Despite obstacles and the Stana threat of the lie being discovered, the film ends happily and love wins.
