Synopsis
The romantic comedy “Stastny novy rok 2” is the sequel to a successful hit made in Czech and Slovakian production, but this time in sunny Croatia. On New Year’s Eve, Marek asks Hana to marry him, and her “yes” triggers a series of funny twists and wedding preparations by the “Czech sea”. The film brings old characters, several new ones and numerous emotional turns. Although presented as a Christmas movie, the Christmas atmosphere is almost entirely missing, being replaced with the Mediterranean charm and sunshine.
