Svetvinčenat (Savičenta) is a medieval town in the south of central Istria. The town is adorned with the Renaissance square Placa with the Morosini-Grimani castle, one of the best-preserved examples of Venetian architecture in Istria and beyond. Savičenta is also known as a tourist gem and an important stage for cultural events and festivals.
