Synopsis

“The Barefoot Emperor” is the sequel of the satirical comedy “King of the Belgians”. It was filmed in Brijuni, which served as an authentic location for the story in which the Belgian king, after being wounded in Sarajevo, wakes up in a sanatorium located on Tito’s former summer residence.
