Synopsis
“The Crooked Road” was filmed in Rovinj, Piran and Split. This British and Yugoslavian co-production features an international film crew. It is a thriller in which an American journalist plans to expose the dictator of a small Balkan country, but he is also framed for murder. He is soon drawn into intrigues and corruption. “The Crooked Road” was filmed in Rovinj, whose streets, waterfront and coast compellingly painted the picture of a politically intense and isolated country.
