Synopsis
A social drama “Ubergeil” follows Angelika, a high school graduate who was raised by a strict mother Gloria. On her vacation in Croatia, Angelika meets Rene and falls in love. She believes he is the love of her life; they get engaged and plan a wedding. However, in Vienna, Rene rapes and kidnaps her. The love, especially obsession with him, ruins her life. The film serves as a warning for young women about the dangers of summer romances and acquaintances. Croatia is an important backdrop of this tragic story.
