Vrsar is a coastal, tourist town on the western coast of Istria, located almost at the mouth of the Lim Channel. It is surrounded by numerous islets and cliffs. It has a lot of pleasant beaches and a beautiful coastline and a rich hinterland. At one time, the Italian adventurer, writer and ladies’ man Giacomo Casanova fell in love with Vrsar.
