Synopsis
The short black-and-white film “Žal” directed by Mara Prpić, who is also a screenwriter, is an allegorical story about the state and an attempt to find the complex causes of current problems and emigration trends. It is an experimental film about population of an island deprived of vegetation in their daily struggle for survival.
